The Romana's Pilates® International Program Details

THE ORIGINAL BRAND NAME

The Los Angeles Chapter for Romana's Pilates® International is based out of Trish Garland's Training Center/Studio in Sherman Oaks and is led by Trish Garland. As a Level lV, Maytal heads the Westside and South Bay region and works directly with Trish Garland to prepare you for the assessment and guide you throughout the program.
Completing an assessment is needed to join the program. During the assessment, candidates are expected to demonstrate proficiency at the intermediate level on key pieces of apparatus and show an intermediate understanding of the principles of Pilates. Enrollment to the program is open to applicants who have been formally assessed and cleared by an authorized Romana’s Pilates International instructor trainer.

It is recommended that a person complete about 65 hours of private sessions with a Romana’s Pilates® International certified instructor to prepare for the assessment.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Program is broken down into 3 Stages covering the full repertoire of exercises at every level on all apparatus: Basic Intermediate Advanced

Each stage consists of a multi-day Group Seminar, Independent Study, Private Lessons and Individual Stage Assessments/Testing. Students are expected to complete 200-300 hours of observation during each stage, totaling a minimum of 600 hours of supervised training that will allow you to progress at your individual level.
